NEWSLETTER #3
Welcome to the third edition of the Central Westchester Indivisible (CWI) newsletter. It’s been a very difficult week. The Trump administration has continued its assault on American freedom, escalating its attacks to include the murders by Kristi Noem’s DHS of another innocent American citizen trying to exercise constitutional rights. CWI is part of a nationwide group of Indivisible chapters and many other organizations fighting to protect our rights and to stop and reverse the Trump administration’s damage to society. Thank you for being a part of that fight!
Some of us were able to attend the very moving and inspirational interdenominational Call to Action and Prayer, Wednesday evening at Congregation Kol Ami in White Plains, which focused on sharing and caring in solidarity with the interfaith gatherings in Minneapolis. One of the very important messages from that gathering is that we have to stand together.
As usual, our newsletter will give you some ideas for actions you can take. First, it’s very cold, so we’ll be focusing on indoor activities this week. The heroes in Minnesota don’t have this luxury, but we’re providing options this week that don’t require freezing in the cold or falling on the ice and snow. That’s why our CWI rally, originally scheduled for this Saturday, has been postponed.
What can you do?
Please see below. And, as usual, we request that you please provide us with information to include in future newsletters. You can do so by sending an email with the pertinent information to our email account, cwindivisible@gmail.com. Please include the word "Event" in the email subject, so we know what to expect.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REGARDING CWI
We’re currently working on developing our goals and visions and we welcome any input from you, our members. We’re also preparing for our first general meeting, likely in early March. And, of course, we’ll be laying the groundwork for a powerful showing by Central Westchester at the March 28 No Kings mobilization.
CWI continues to grow. We now have 199 members and we’re growing quickly. Please help us grow. When we’re back to having outdoor events, we need to have a strong presence to send a strong message to the Trump Administration and to so many politicians who have been afraid to stand up to Trump.
We are also in the process of setting up our own website. We will inform you of how to access it soon, hopefully by the time the next newsletter comes out.
Finally, here’s Bruce Springsteen’s very sad and inspirational new song “dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.”
Let’s continue to stand together with Minneapolis and to stay strong!
