NEWSLETTER #1

Welcome to Central Westchester Indivisible’s (CWI) first newsletter!  We’ll be sending you regular newsletters to update you on CWI activities and events, as well as events planned by other Indivisible chapters and allied groups in and near our community.  We hope you will provide us with information to include in future newsletters.  You can do so by sending an email with the pertinent information to our email account, cwindivisible@gmail.com.  Please include the word "Event" in the email subject, so we know what to expect.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Many of you attended demonstrations last weekend against the abuses of ICE and the Trump administration. Some of these events included vigils for Renee Nicole Good, who was murdered by an ICE agent last week.

CWI Rally - CWI will continue to oppose ICE and the Trump administration with a CWI rally on Sunday, January 25 at 1 PM at the corner of Tarrytown Road (Route 119) and Hillside Avenue in Greenburgh.  We’re looking forward to seeing you, your friends, and your signs!  

Other Events - You don’t have to wait until January 25.  One event coming up soon in our area is the White Plains Free America Walkout on January 20 at the White Plains Federal Courthouse from 2:00 to 3:30.  For other Free America Walkout locations, click here.  For another good source for other upcoming events in the area, click here.
