For less than we already pay, New York could guarantee universal, comprehensive care by cutting out profit-seeking middlemen. As federal healthcare cuts kick in—doubling the uninsured, closing hospitals, and spiking premiums—New York can fight back by passing the New York Health Act and putting care over profit.
